The Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel in the historic Rocks district of Sydney lays claim to being Sydney’s oldest continually licensed hotel. It is also home to Australia’s oldest pub brewery.
“The Lord” is a heritage-listed pub and hotel located at 19 Kent Street, Millers Point, Sydney. It was constructed during the late 1830’s. The sandstone blocks used in the construction are thought to have been quarried from the area at the base of Observatory Hill.
