We stopped in at Lily’s Artisan at Crows Nest as we thought it was still the old Crows Nest Bakery. The place certainly has changed and it was a pleasant surprise.
Lily’s Artisan co-owners Bruce and Heidi Ryman are the new owners of the old Crows Nest Bakery building and have converted it into a permanent base for so many delicious preserves, and awesome homemade pies.
Bruce served us and chatted whilst he made our coffees and shared how Lily’s Artisan came to be. We found him to be a very engaging host and his Chunky Beef pie and Cauliflower pie were fantastic.
If you are heading out Crows Nest way make sure you stop in and check out what’s on offer. We’ll be sure to make a future journey back down that way for another look and maybe another pie and some delicious preserves.
We liked our pies so much we started scoffing them before our “obligatory food photo” oops…
