It was time for some 2 wheeled touring, the weather was ideal so we hit road. This tour would also see some amazing countryside and also complete some of the ABC’s of Touring as part of the Harley Owners Group.

We were heading off with some friends for company for 8 days of 2 wheeled adventure. Departing Rockhampton in the morning our first real stop was going to be Sarina for some photos for the ABC’s of Touring

A lunch stop in Mackay at Montezuma’s Mexican restaurant seen us refreshed to continue our journey.

The plan was to not drink a lot this trip, so we went to the local liquor barn once we arrived in Bowen to buy a six pack to have once we’d finished dinner and returned to the hotel. Seeing the price of a six pack seen us buy a carton instead.

Once we’d unpacked at the Bluewater Harbour Motel, it was off for dinner and a few beers at the Grand View Hotel. Back at our rooms later on we managed to drink 3/4 of the carton of beer  and the ‘boys’ smoked a cigar. It didn’t look good staying relatively alcohol free this trip.
