Due to slow Internet connection this one’s a day late.
This was our last day in Arizona and into California, once we left Kingman we had a short trip to Cool Springs.
Cool Springs sits on one side of Sitgreaves Pass a 9 mile 14.5km action of twisty road to Oatman consisting of around 122 curves.
Oatman is a town out of time, it’s a real cowboy town with donkeys walking up and down the street.
From there we went to Needles and headed back to Lake Havasu to look at the city and the old London Bridge. It was brought over from England.
Then it was back to Needles to settle into the motel and have a swim. It was a warm 41deg C it went down to a low of 30deg overnight. At least the humidity was low.
